What do I need to enroll?
For learners younger than 20, we will need a release from the district in which they reside. We need two forms of ID. Acceptable ID includes: social security card, birth certificate, driver's license, state ID.
How long does it take to enroll?
It takes approximately 2 hours to completely enroll; this includes the TABE placement test.
How often do you offer GED testing?
Typically, we test twice a month.
Do you provide transportation?
Orchard View Adult Education is located on a MATS bus route. We offer bus passes to eligible students after they establish a pattern of attendance.
Do you offer computer-based learning?
Orchard View Adult Education offers e2020 as a computer-based, online learning system. The curriculum consists of structured groupings of online lessons, tests and resources. Classes are designed for student/participants to work at their own pace. Each class meets state standards. Qualified instructors are available during class for support.
What opportunities exist for childcare?
Orchard View offers affordable, top-quality child care in three convenient locations. All are licensed by the State of Michigan.
