Orchard View Business & Industry began decades ago to
serve the training needs of our community, specifically businesses or
individuals seeking to improve and develop their employability skills. We continue to offer high quality training
with dedicated staff to serve you -our community.
A New Career is Just Waiting for You! - A
variety of vocational training programs are available to meet your interest and
schedule.
Our Certified Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide training has
been an important part of the community for many years. Students are trained to be competent,
compassionate caregivers as Certified Nurse Aides. The state approved 200+ hour training program
was developed in cooperation with and endorsed by nursing home facilities and
home health care agencies in the Muskegon area. Students work through lecture,
laboratory work, and on-the-job clinical training to become prepared for the
State of Michigan certification exam and employment.
The Comprehensive Medical Assistant course trains the
student in the administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of
physicians and other healthcare practitioners running smoothly. Graduates of this program will find
employment in private and public hospitals, as well as inpatient and outpatient
facilities. The duties may vary from
office to office, depending on the location and size of the practice and the
specialty of the doctor. Classroom time
involves lecture and hands-on lab work, with the potential for on-the-job
training through an externship following successful completion.
For those students who prefer administrative work, we offer
evening classes for Medical Administrative Assistant, Legal Office Assistant,
and Medical Coding and Claims Processing. A variety of courses and schedules are available. Call our office to learn more or request our
